One of the objectives of Crows Nest Mainstreet is to ensure that all parts of the Crows Nest village benefit equally from Mainstreet improvements or initiatives.
The Mainstreet Committee is focusing on a number of areas.
# Zero Tolerance on Graffiti
Vandalism and malicious damage with graffiti continues to be the target of our attention. Working in conjunction with the local police to tackle this issue, a database of tags is being developed so that repeat offenders can be identified more readily.
Removing graffiti as soon as possible is shown to be the greatest deterrent.
North Sydney Council (02 9936 8100) can target this problem more easily if all incidences are reported, both Residential and Commercial. Please report ALL activity to the police on the Police Assistance Line 131 444.

Our local community website brings numerous visitors into the area every month, please get behind it and list your businesses and events.
It is free for you to do a basic business listing and to promote any special events you have on in the area.
